Otherside Demo Revealed
Yuga Labs has revealed the demo version of their metaverse, Otherside. Land plots called otherdeeds which would ultimately be used in this digital realm went on sale recently on OpenSea. This revelation has put a boost in ApeCoin, the native token of this metaverse. The holders of NFTs associated with this virtual realm now have a chance to feel the upcoming immersive experience of this space.
The team invited thousands of NFT holders for this demo version of the metaverse game. Released demo was among the “First Trips” enabling the otherdeed and plot owners to take part in the event. Yuga Labs released the trailer of Otherside metaverse during March 2021. It offered a glimpse of what this metaverse will offer to the users.
After launching the demo version, Yuga Labs issued a litepaper to drop some clues of what the environment will be like once its full version is revealed. Phase one of this initiative will involve the storyline players will follow. It will revolve around the Obelisk which appeared in Otherside metaverse. Remaining phases are still unknown but users will be the essential elements in shaping the platform’s prime capabilities.
ApeCoin is the prime element in the Otherside metaverse and is the prime currency of this game. When Yuga Labs initiated the otherdeed NFT sales, which gave rise to a jam on the Ethereum network during April 2021. Interested buyers needed to use ApeCoin to acquire digital land plots.
ApeCoin Price Action
ApeCoin witnessed a healthy surge in its price following the demo release of Otherside metaverse. APE marked $6.30 from a low of $4.60 on Monday. As the current market witnessed some new tailwinds, it could further increase the price of the asset. As of this writing, ApeCoin was trading at a market value of $5.86, down by 2.50% during the past 24 hours.
