The Tesla CEO is in talks of being in an entanglement with Sergey Brin’s wife! Elon clarified that the rumors are nothing but lies and that he and Sergey are great friends who were both together at the party last night. Regardless, people familiar with the matter report that the rumours had already ruptured the friendship between the Google Co-Founder and Musk.
A Historic Relation Comes to an End
The friendship between Sergey and Elon goes way back to the early 2000s. The Google Co-Founder, in 2008, gave Elon a check for $500,000 to save the then sinking boat named Tesla. It was, as stated by Musk, the worst economic meltdown of his life. In 2015, Elon gave Sergey a fully electric Tesla SUV. After the unveiling of this affair between Elon and Nicole Shanahan, Google Co-Founder filed for divorce from his wife at the start of this year. Sergey stated some ‘irreconcilable issues’ as the reason for their divorce.

The affair reportedly occurred at Art Basel in early December, a couple of weeks after Elon’s break-up with his ex-girlfriend Grimes, who welcomed a child with Musk a few years back. The upsetting of Sergey eventually led to the Tesla CEO reportedly getting down on his knees and begging Brin for forgiveness. According to people familiar with the matter, Brin acknowledged the gesture but still is not talking to Musk like he used to do pre-affair.
