Odin Has Entered The NFT Realm
The legendary actor, Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA winner, Sir Anthony Hopkins, has joined forces with Orange Comet to release his latest NFT project dubbed The Eternal Collection. The drop represents the actor’s work as an artist. The digitale collectible drop will contain 10 virtual animations depicting him in distinct Jungian avatars he has played during his career. The project is set for its official release on September 16th on OpenSea.
Title of the project is based on the NFT collection’s archetype theme, which the Orange Comet and Sir Anthony Hopkins have worked hard for. The project will contain archetypes of Jester, Giver, Creator, Lover, Explorer, Ruler, Sage, Magician, Rebel, and Hero.
Every animation will be 30 to 45 seconds long. Every animation will contain a separate release of 100 PFP variants depicting a specific Jungian character theme, making the variant count 1000 in the drop.
Orange Comet will also release a unique 1 on 1 NFT piece which will solely contain all the 10 animations in a single piece. Silence of The Lambs actor has promised to offer a part of the proceeds as charity donation. The content of the drop including 10 animations, 1000 PFPs and 1 on 1 NFT comes with unique perks. Users can get access to real life events, tangible pieces of art, and Sir Anthiny Hopkins’ exclusive audio clips.

Sir Anthiny Hopkins told a news website that ‘NFTs are blank canvas to make art.’ Hesaid that he was nervous initially, but entered anyway. It’s like when Sirius Black said “What’s life without a little risk.” The Hannibal actor is quite optimistic about exploring new things and thinks we should try everything.
The Oscar winning actor posted a tweet during June 2022, showing his interest in the NFT space. He asked renowned personalities, Jimmy Fallon, Rese Witherspoon and Snoop Dogg to counsel him in this context, as they have already stepped into this booming sector.
Many popular names engaged with the tweet, including Beeple, who’s Everydays NFT is still the highest grossing piece of digital art to this date.
