Darkweb in The Real World

An Officer from the Department also explained the individuals used a darkweb platform that allowed prominent to-be dealers to post for free. However, it demanded a 10% commission on all transactions. The individuals were paying either in crypto forms or directly through the platform.

The Seoul Police have identified the traders, but the operators are still to be captured. The platform used darkweb technology, cryptoassets, and messaging platforms such as Telegram to naturally connect with the youngsters.

In an interview later an officer warned: “Young people with high levels of internet literacy can easily buy narcotics online. But while they may think they leave no trace of their actions if they buy narcotics using crypto assets, this isn’t the case. We have launched a dedicated investigation team and offenders will eventually be caught.”

The Seoul Police Department expressed that some of the darkweb operators may belong to Seoul’s busiest night spots.

Cybercrimes and darkweb are moving to the next level with crypto embedding in the market. It’s time for government authorities to step up before it is late to save the youth that defines a nation.
