The Hopeful Collection for Solana Marketplace

NFTs have taken the crypto sector by storm. The year 2021 unveiled the real value of the non-fungible tokens as the space witnessed a mouth-watering volume of around 25 Billion USD. Integration of these digital collectibles in games is rising every day. Recently, Azra Games announced that they will release a collection linked to their upcoming game Legions and Legends.

The latest NFT collection is titled The Hopeful which will roll out on the biggest Solana marketplace, Magic Eden. The tokens will serve as profile pictures and offer benefits to the community. Legions and Legends is a science fiction game where the users command legions, in-game avatars.

This initiative is a part of Azra Games’ long-term vision. They want to offer a deep, immersive environment to the players. In May 2022, the organization raised $15 Million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.

Play-to-Earn NFTs can Help Unemployed

NFTs are an integral part of the play-to-earn ecosystem. Game avatars, land plots, crafted items and more can be used as tokens to generate real-world value. For example, in Axie Infinity, players can breed their Axies (in-game avatars) to produce unique avatars and sell them to earn AXS, the native token of the game, which is trading at $12.93 USD at the time of publication.

According to a survey, several people are willing to quit their jobs to play P2E games. 32% of the respondents said that they will leave their employment to earn income via games. 52% said that they used the income to fulfill their basic necessities of life, and 19% settled their educational expenses.

The Covid-19 era proved to be a rising tide for play-to-earn games. The lockdown made people across the globe realize that it is not the end of the world. They can still survive without a 9-5 job while having fun on their devices. The P2E sector holds a lot of potentials, and experts believe that the space will become a 2.9 Billion USD industry by 2028.
