  • Cathie Woods has recently snatched two stocks under $10.
  • Now, it’s time to see where Wood has dug her heels in of her investments.

Cathie Woods has been purchasing the dip this month, choosing those stocks that faced a sharp fall in share price and now selling it at $10 per share.

Here, we have accumulated the details through which you can know about Wood’s two of her recent big purchases.

Ginkgo Bioworks Holdings

The first one is Ginkgo Bioworks Holdings, an American biotechnology company. The company set foot in public markets on 17th September. After the step, the stock slipped 76%. Ginkgo is anticipating to touch 60 new cell programs in its manufacture platform in 2022. The firm is leading toward a full-year income of $425 million to $440 million.

This thing snatched the attention of Cathy Woods. She purchased Ginkgo from two of her investment funds, ARK Innovation and ARK Genomic. Prior to this, she had approximately 78.882 million shares of DNA, a growth of 5.26 million shares in September. After this, Wood included 3.57 million shares this very month to let her hold 27.439 million shares. Totaling all these, Wood’s share in Ginkgo is more than 106 million shares, estimated at $305 million at existing calculations.

TuSimple Holdings

The second one is TuSimple Holdings, a company that makes the world’s most advanced self-driving technologies. The target of this company is to associate AI-based self-driving systems with long-haul cargo carriage, to make real independent trucking – and to sort out problems of efficiency, range, and safety in the industry.

In the financial report for the second quarter of 2022, the company listed a total loss of 49 cents per share, the sixth loss in a continuation since it went public. If we see its positive side, then the losses witnessed by the company have been decreasing with the passing of time; in 2021, the loss was about 64 cents per share.

In the past few weeks, Wood has purchased 765,000 shares of TSP by her ARK Innovation fund, which currently holds more than 10.8 million shares of the firm. All in all, her capital is in the stock for $73 million.
