In general, interpreting our bookmaker.XYZ as a sheer bookmaker website will be a fallacy. Yes, you read it right — it is exactly true! In other words, bettors can  readily wager here to the fullest and get hold of cash or prizes in case of win(s), although our platform is devoid of any bookmaking “house”, “bookmaker” or “sportsbook” that typically have betting odds against players.

Unlike almost all bookmakers and sports betting websites where players are obligated to make a specific amount of deposits as an integral part of the sign up process in order that they can start betting on their favorite sports betting games, at Bookmaker.XYZ, you can feel happy-go-lucky – here you need not undergo the hassle. However, at the same time, making direct withdrawals is not possible here either. In simple words, while you wager on a sport activity using your funds, the same gets automatically locked into blockchain smart-contracts that generally turn out preset outcomes. After a sports betting event concludes, the contract enables players to redeem their recorded wins.

You may be wondering – how come this is possible! Well, Bookmaker. XYZ is the first betting website which is a class by itself. We feel elated to bring into your notice that Azuro powers our website – a conspicuously new protocol for decentralizing wagering.

Why Bookmaker.XYZ?

1. XYZ betting is one of a kind

Our betting platform Bookmaker.XYZ can neither ever hold your money back nor resolve if or when you can get hold of your winnings. To be precise, we simply do not have any access to it and we never implement such unfair practices. After all, you bet and so you are the first and the only owner of that money invariably.

2. XYZ betting is clear sailing

On our platform, customers can feel at ease always – they need not create an account in order that they can login or send documents for validation. Simply having a handful of cryptocurrencies with you along with a web3 wallet, for example, Metamask will do the job. If you are on the fence about the platform and its mechanism, please contact us now.

The tech bit can seem tough if you are new to crypto, but once you get in – it’s so easy!

3. XYZ betting is sure to deliver personal satisfaction

In general, you can expect to receive cryptocurrency when you wager – no matter even if you fail to win you still can claim it. Apart from receiving all regular rewards, you can expect surprises — the most exciting ones.

4. XYZ betting is a great fun

Yes, XYZ betting is great fun. Explore our website, and start betting and the truth will be out

What blockchain does Bookmaker.XYZ utilize?

Bookmaker.XYZ utilizes the blockchain platform Gnosis Chain, which is quite affordable for players – in general, the network fees players have to pay ranges from 0.01 to 0.10 cents per bet, which is most possible a price range that is a no brainer. With a view to giving your betting a go, all you need to do is get the xDAI first.

In the near future, we are hopeful of incorporating more blockchains into our platform.

A Beginners’ guide for Ethereum users

About you:

  • you already must have an account with CEX, the leading Crypto exchange or have ETH assets
  • you are inquisitive to learn ways and means to get xDAI to start wagering on our platform bookmaker.XYZ
  • you wish to restore your winnings to ETH
  • a point worth noting is that the crypto asset ETH is among the exorbitant chains. Gas rates are subject to vary when the market goes through volatility and specific on-chain events take place. Consider using Etherscan to keep a tab on gas prices prior to going forward. Want to get your hands on a less expensive option? If yes, then do read on the Polygon or Binance Smart Chain handbooks – the fees are the least possible on these chains.

With a view to placing wagers on the platform bookmaker.XYZ, it is important that you have assets on any of the chains underpinned by Azuro Liquidity Pools.

This roadmap will also help in executing the entire process of getting hold of the xDAI through ETH.

Prerequisites

  • You already must have an account with CEX, the leading Crypto exchange or have ETH assets
  • You either already have ETH or assets on the ETH chain.
  • You must have already installed the Metamask wallet. If not, download it from here Metamask.io.

Overview

  • Purchase not only ETH but also DAI on a CEX.
  • Withdraw both the crypto currencies to your wallet.
  • Swap ETH to DAI via a DEX.
  • Bridge DAI from ETH to xDAI on the Gnosis Chain.

Purchase ETH & DAI on a CEX

Purchase ETH & DAI on a CEX, for example, Binance, KuCoin, FTX etc.

  1. 1.
Buy ETH & DAI on a favorite CEX (Binance, FTX, KuCoin etc.)
    1. 1.
You can buy crypto directly using a credit/debit card.
    2. 2.
      P2P or Bank Transfer.

       1.1
Whether you choose either P2P or Bank Transfer, it is essential to exchange your fiat currency with crypto via the spot exchange.

  1. 2.
Withdraw ETH & DAI to your ETH address. ETH refers to using gas and DAI refers to the token you will be bridging.
  2. 3.
If you have a tag process, you can switch to “Bridging DAI on Ethereum to xDAI on Gnosis”.

Using a DEX to swap ETH to DAI

This segment is geared towards users who are already having ETH loaded on a private wallet. You can switch ETH straightforwardly to DAI via a DEX.

  1. 1.
Go to Uniswap. (Uniswap is the industry’s preeminent DEX for ETH, although a variety of options is available for users).
  2. 2.
Connect your web3 enabled wallet by checking the box located at the top right hand side of your screen.
  3. 3.

Link up Ethereum Mainnet inside the MetaMask. You can make changes in the network easily – simply choose it from the drop-down menu visible at the top of your wallet.

Once connection establishes, it is essential to choose the chain you are sending from to the receiving one. If you find Mainnet present within MetaMask, the sending chain should key out itself as ETH. However, if you find it missing there, then consider selecting it manually.

  1. 1.
Approaching the From section and using the drop-down list, simply choose “Ethereum” as the network and “DAI” as the token.
  2. 2.
Approaching the To section, use the drop-down list and select “Gnosis” and “xDAI”

You are not geared up to switch from ETH to DAI as yet.

  1. 1.
Type the specific amount of ETH you are interested in swapping for DAI. Do not forget to leave substantial ETH in your wallet to further and/or carry out the existing and all potential transactions.
  2. 2.
    Hit the Swap button.
  3. 3. MetaMask will open, select “Confirm” and await the swap to deal with the blockchain routinely.

Bridging DAI on ETH to xDAI on Gnosis

With a view to bridging from ETH to Gnosis, we consider using Connext. Depending on your preferences, you can consider using other bridges, for example, Hop Protocol or the Gnosis xDAI Bridge if you have a wish for, the process is the all the same, only the UI is poles apart.

  1. 1.
    Visit Connext.
  2. 2.
Link up your web3 enabled wallet by checking the box saying “Connect Wallet” as you did while connecting Uniswap.
  3. 3.

Once connection establishes, the next step you need to take is to consider checking the chain you are sending from to the receiving chain. If you have selected Ethereum Mainnet within MetaMask, the sending chain should identify itself as Ethereum; if it does not, you will need to manually select it.

  1. 1.
Approaching the From section and using the drop-down list, simply choose “Ethereum” as the network and “DAI” as the token.
  2. 2.
Approaching the To section, use the drop-down list and select “Gnosis” and “xDAI”

Now it is time to key in the amount to let you bridge, greenlight the contract interaction and give the bridging process a go.

1. Key in the amount you wish to bridge.

2. Click the approve button and greenlight the contract interaction.

3 Wait until the contract is greenlighted to affirm the chain.

4. Now you will see that the Swap button has become active. Click Swap and endorse the transaction made within MetaMask.

It is now time for the swap to affirm on the blockchain. Once the swap finishes, it is essential to sign the transaction and the funds will be credited to your wallet.

Once the transaction takes place in your chain successfully, you can easily switch to the Gnosis chain and the xDAI will be visible within your wallet.

Now you are all set to connect to bookmaker.XYZ and start betting.

…back to Ethereum

In case you feel like to bridge assets back to ETH anytime, consider following the aforesaid process, but in a reverse order:

  1. 1.
Bridge xDAI <> DAI on ETH via anyone of the bridges, for example, Connext, Hop Protocol, etc.
  2. 2.
Swap DAI to a preferred asset on a DEX.
  3. 3.
Deposit your DAI on the CEX of your preference.
  4. 4. Offer that DAI for sale, or an extra asset, for a fiat currency pair and make withdrawals to your bank account.
