Dubai is Becoming The Metaverse Hub

Metaverse is taking the technology sector by storm. Industry titans are loving the concept especially since the boom in the crypto sphere. Not only the organizations, but the governments of the countries are entering into the arena to provide an immersive experience to their citizens. Dubai remains on top of the charts in terms of metaverse development.

Recently, the UAE government launched their headquarters in the metaverse. Abdulla bin Touch made the official announcement during the Dubai Metaverse Assembly. They wanted it at a location which the users can access easily no matter what. Citizens can conduct almost all the legal activities in the virtual office. But the physical deeds shall be performed on-site only.

UAE authorities updated their website to give it a three dimensional look to make it more interactive for the users. Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the crowned prince of Dubai, has a vision to create 40,000 job opportunities in virtual worlds.

Nobody Wants to Miss Out on The Opportunity

Top companies around the globe are pulling their socks up for metaverse development. Google, the global leader in the search engine sector, has invested 39.5 Million USD for such projects. Earlier this year, Microsoft acquired Call of Duty publisher Activision Blizzard in a 68.7 Billion USD deal.

The greatest enthusiasm was presented by Mark Zuckerberg when they changed their title from Facebook to Meta. Zuck Bucks announced that they are shifting the majority of their focus towards the metaverse. But the social media giant is yet to gain considerable success given its global popularity.

Recently, Robert Greene, creator of PUBG, announced that he will leave PUBG Studios to work with PlayerUnknown Productions. His upcoming project, Artemis, will explore NFTs and metaverse. This is just a glimpse on how the developers and organizations around the world are fascinated by the virtual worlds.

But this is not it, interoperability will play a major role in building the digital spaces. There must be a network of interconnected metaverses to make it more interactive and immersive. The virtual world can contribute to educational purposes too as it can make education more accessible to the people worldwide.
