Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto is treated as one of the biggest mysteries across crypto space. Since the inception of bitcoin, its creator or creators have taken the pseudo identity and never disclosed it to the community.

The conversation from Satoshi Nakamoto started from the genesis block of bitcoin itself where the developer noted “The Times Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks”. The message was taken out from an article from the newspaper on the day of block release itself.

Continuously in Contact with the Community

For more than two years, Nakamoto remained in continuous contact with the bitcoin community. For instance, he spoke at his own founded bitcoin forum for crypto and blockchain enthusiasts named Bitcointalk forum. On 12th December 2010, he noted while addressing the community that the newly created network needed a lot more improvements.

Since the concept of cryptocurrency in the form of bitcoin is quite new, Satoshi Nakamoto remained in contact with the public and consistently worked towards explaining the concept and bringing awareness towards it.

Wikileaks Offer and Satoshi Nakamoto’s Refusal

One instance in the history of bitcoin came when Nakamoto had refused an early offer of accepting bitcoin as payment method. On 11th December 2010, Wikileaks revealed their plan to employ an infrastructure to enable the non-profit organization to accept payments in bitcoin as donations.

Satoshi Nakamoto refused the idea, appealing to Wikileaks to refrain from using bitcoin. He said the small beta community of bitcoin is in its early stages. Considering this, Wikileaks might not receive enough capital and in the worst case, the news that controversial figures like Wikeleaks would create enough heat to destroy the emerging ecosystem at the very early stage.

Disguise Finally Disappeared

As reported, on 26th April, 2011, Nakamoto contacted lead bitcoin developer Gavin Andresen via email. He wrote to Andresen not to project him as some mysterious character as it would have a bad impact on the image of the newly created project. The press could use it as an angle to showcase bitcoin as a pirate currency, he added.

Bitcoin creator said to make the network more of an open-source project. Asking to give more credit of the project’s creation to the contributors, Nakamoto said Andresen, it would make them feel motivated.

In response to his mail, Andresen replied to Nakamoto that he was giving talk about bitcoin to the CIA. Nakamoto never responded to the message. Those remained as the last words from the bitcoin creator.
