Blocto, a crypto wallet, launches Aptos foundation with the mainnet. It announced the first community based Ecosystem Fund on Aptos that will thrive in the Aptoverse.
In the Medium post published on October 19, 2022, Tien, Blocto’s Writer, added in her post that a highly anticipated Layer-1 blockchain built with MOVE and pioneered by ex-Meta team.
The new project is a move towards Aptos. While the building with $3 Million Blocto ecosystem fund includes the initial grants as the General Grant fund, all of the projects that will receive 1K worth of $BLT. In the Early Bird Grant fund, the first 10 projects will receive 2K worth of $BLT, and in the Exclusive Access fund, this will explore more growth opportunities.
Aptos is co-founded by Mo Shaikh and Avery Ching, both former employees at Meta and also worked on the Diem blockchain. It has over 65 projects active across various verticals. Along with the new Aptos-based projects like Thala Labs, Martian and Souffl3 have also raised funds in recent weeks.
The funding details of Blocto strictly filter the registered emails of the new users onboarding users dApp via Blocto Wallet. It will provide the latest data via its newsletter for project partners.
In addition, Aptos Network, the Layer 1 blockchain, retweeted the BloctoApp post on November 3, 2022, that was related to Tortuga Finance that is building the premier non-custodial liquid staking protocol on Aptos.
Tortuga is one of the places where one can delegate APT to validators. Like, Stake APT, receive tAPT to use all across the ecosystem.
