Elon Musk has a lot of plans for improving the social media platform Twitter. From allowing the people to speak openly to eliminating the bots, he wants to refurbish the user experience through a transition from Twitter to Twitter 2.0. Recently, he challenged the bots to “attack” him and said that they are unable to swarm the replies section.

Twitter Is Progressing, Says Billy Markus

Billy Markus, co-creator of Dogecoin entered the fun conversation and said that he wasn’t able to see several bots on his “test post”, calling it a “progress”. Global Head of F5 and former FBI special agent, Dan Woods, claimed that over 80% Twitter accounts are bots, meanwhile the social media platform reported only 5%.

Elon Musk replied to the Dogecoin co-creator that they are eliminating the bots upon their appearance on the posts. He added that they will remove the fraudsters from the social media platform too. The social networks have become a fraudulent hotbed where attackers are active night and day seeking for their prey.

Billy Markus then posted a Game of Thrones GIF saying “Burn Them All”. A moderate amount of bots are tolerable on the platform, but an overpopulation can lead the actual users away. Elon Musk is taking all the actions he can to enhance Twitter to be a better social space for the people.

Last month, Elon posted a poll asking whether they should offer a general amnesty as they are not involved in any conduct outside the law. To this, Billy Markus replied that the social platform should be clear and consistent. Tesla CEO added that increased transparency will gain users’ trust.

After the Tesla CEO took over the company, rumors started hovering that Apple will remove Twitter from the App Store. But Musk’s recent meeting with Tim Cook, Apple CEO, made it clear that this is not the case. In fact, Elon said, the company never had plans to remove the social media platform in the first place.

On one hand Elon Musk is admired for his actions, while there is reportedly a dark side to his empire. Neuralink, a neurotech company founded by the Twitter CEO in 2018, claimed to be working on a brain implant chip to help paralyzed and blind people. A whistleblower of the organization told Reuters that they are testing on the animals, and have killed over 1,500 since 2018.
