WeTransfer Partners with Minima to Revolutionize NFTs

WeTransfer is an internet-based file transfer service company headquartered in Amsterdam and Netherlands. Gordon Willoughby founded the company in 2009.  

WeTransfer recently announced its partnership with the Minima blockchain platform; the digital sharing network seeks to launch its non-fungible.

Minima is an L1 blockchain and peer-to-peer network developed in 2018 and is headquartered in Switzerland and the United Kingdom. 

According to the Minima website, it is an ultra-lean blockchain protocol that fits on mobile or IoT devices, entitling every user to construct and validate nodes fully. 

Minima has its native token, which enables peer-to-peer transfer between users without indulging any third party. The platform is still in its testnet phase and is planning to go live by the end of Q1 2023 in 180+ nations. 

According to the company’s press release, collaboration with WeTransfer will facilitate users on blockchain to “share their digital assets and efficiently collect revenue.”

The association between WeTransfer and Minima will allow users to generate NFTs directly from their smartphones without any additional equipment. 

Huge Feiler, Chief Executive Officer at Minima, states, “This partnership will explore the practical use of NFT technology, something which interests not only the crypto industry but will be a test case to demonstrate the potential of wider adoption of this innovative digital tool.” 

Fifty-Three and Present Plus were acquired by WeTransfer, which is primarily financed by Highland Europe and HPE Growth.

Minima blockchain allegedly has four investors: AGE Crypto Investment Fund, GSR, DEX Ventures, and Blockchange Ventures. 

On January 31, 2023, Bloomberg stated that Minima had renewed its partnership with MobilityXlab for the next 6 months. MobilityXlab offers emerging companies with innovative ideas in mobility and connectivity the opportunity to accelerate their development.

On October 28, 2022, as per Google Cloud’s blog post, it announced that it is introducing Blockchain Node Engine that is fully managed by node-hosting for web3.

Amazon has been working for a long time to grow its presence in Web 3. The cloud service arm of the e-commerce giant is taking a bold step into the Web3 space by hiring staff to grow its client base in this industry. 

Hundreds of Web 2 file sharing have already started working on expanding their use case in the blockchain industry. However, it is quite easy to predict that several other companies may collaborate with blockchain companies in the coming months for their betterment. 

Blockchain and decentralization are changing the financial banking system and several other fields. In upcoming times more advancement is expected to be seen in the technology sector.  

However, the recent launch of the AI protocol ChatGPT has encouraged users to shift their trend toward Artificial Intelligence. AI introduction in the era will change the perspective and other pursual avenues of the many industries.
