An Important business arm of The Sony Group, Sony Network Communications, has collaborated recently Astar Network, a multi-chain smart contract, to start a Web3 incubation program. With a motive to help such projects that are into development of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
Focusing on Web3, blockchain, NFTs & More
Recently published press release disclose that the Web3 incubation program is also backed by Astar Network Chief Sota Watanabe’s firm Startale Labs. The time period of the program is said to be from half of next month till June 2023.
The Singapore-based firm Startale Labs provides business consultant services, creates dApps (decentralized applications) and infrastructure, with its roots deep in multi-chain protocol development space. Not only this, it also acts as a bridge elongated to connect Astar Network with other large firms. Moreover, it is aiming to serve better via tech support while helping participating projects to grow their business.
“We are pleased to launch the Web3 incubation program with Sony Network Communications, one of the Sony Group’s companies, which has been involved in the NFT sector and other Web3 initiatives within the Group. We hope to share the knowledge and resources of both companies to provide value to the participants selected for the program and create new use cases and projects,“ said CEO Mr. Watanabe.
According to media reports, the applications are starting from February 17 and ending on March 6, 2023. Astar Foundation along with Sony Network Communications are set to review overall applications and decide 10 to 15 cohorts. The program will be a big stage for every budding startup nonetheless of their levels, participation is welcomed from across the globe.
Several brain-boosting sessions will be provided by international Venture Capitalist (VC) firms, for example, Alchemy Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, and Dragonfly. Moreover, a full-fledged tech and business strategy workshop will be there.

The upcoming incubation program in a few months is going to help Sony Network Communications to speed up their way to Web3 solutions. Also, the business division of The Sony Group is digging deep to find ways to exactly solve tonnes of real-world problems through blockchain tech.
According to a news website, Sony Network Communications is lending its hands to newly-formed firms as a part of their goal, which increases the assets and telecommunication business of The Sony Group. An office specially oriented for NFT products in Singapore shows their greater inclination to development of this next level technology.
