In an effort to accelerate the use of decentralized technologies in East Asia, Huawei Cloud has introduced the Metaverse and Web3 Alliance. To make this project a reality, the cloud division of the Chinese multinational IT giant teamed up with a number of blockchain plaeyrs.
The most recent Huawei Cloud metaverse endeavor is similar to other ongoing blockchain-focused initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region. Also, this initiative coincided with changes to the Deepbrain Chain AI computer platform.
Huawei forms alliance with Blockchain
At the 2023 Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific Partnership Leaders Conference in Bali, Indonesia, on February 23, Huawei Cloud announced partnerships with Polygon (MATIC), Deepbrain Chain (DBC), Morpheus Labs (MITX), and BlockChain Solutions, with more to come in the future, as WeChat reported on February 25.
Morpheus Labs CEO Pei-Han highlighted his company’s engagement in the initiative as “one of the important partners in Huawei Metaverse – Web3 Alliance” in his remarks regarding the partnership and launch announcement.
Additionally, the alliance will give members access to Huawei’s sizable cloud service user base, giving them high-value, targeted exposure and enabling interested parties to establish new business relationships.
Huawei’s participation will put a greater emphasis on Metaverse and Web3 themes than prior collaborations between cryptocurrency initiatives and cloud service providers.
Huawei Cloud and Metaverse
Huawei aims to improve enterprise and governmental functionality everywhere. The Shenzhen-based company serves businesses and agencies in over 29 countries with cloud-native, AI, and big data solutions. The expected global digital transformation of Huawei will also benefit its approximately 7 million active end users each month.
The recent CLOUD Asia-Pacific Partner Leadership Summit, which Huawei hosted in Bali, Indonesia, on an invitation-only basis, demonstrated the company’s dedication to the developing metaverse. Many partners and significant customers from the Asia-Pacific area attended the event, which took place between February 22 and February 24. China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom, for instance, were partners.
Huawei’s soaring success
Data suggests that Huawei Cloud’s global market share has increased dramatically in recent years, making it the leading cloud storage brand in the world. Throughout the region, more than 170 governments and businesses have undergone digital transformation, providing services to 730 million regular end users and releasing contemporary efficiency in cooperation with customers and suppliers.
Only invitees from more than 100 Asia-Pacific partners and important clients, including China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom, were allowed to attend the 2023 Huawei Cloud Asia-Pacific Partner Managers Conference in Bali, Indonesia.
The top technological “major manufacturers” in the world are vying to work with Huawei, Metaverse, and Web 3.0 because they are essential elements of the next-generation network.
Serving 730 million end users worldwide, Huawei Cloud offers cloud-native, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data solutions to businesses and governments in close to 30 countries. By doing so, it hopes to carry out digital transformation and boost productivity.
Additionally, Huawei’s recent blockchain partnership is just one of its initiatives to advance cutting-edge technology. In fact, Huawei previously declared in November 2021 that it had already set the goal of deploying the 6G network by 2030.
