As the crypto space grows, so does its female presence. To celebrate this, TheCoinRepublic spoke with these lady superpowers about the crypto market.

Women are increasingly joining the wave of support for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, a development that continues to blaze a trail. Whether they are developers, firm owners, miners, or investors, women have become an integral part of the crypto industry’s successes. What once began as a small niche is gaining more traction than ever, thanks to these superwomen marveling at the market’s new possibilities.

This International Women’s Day, TheCoinRepublic salutes the femme spirit and brings you these leading ladies of the crypto market who’ve paved their way to success one-step-at-a-time!

“Web3 empowers everyone to make money and be independent.”

Who: Soniya Ahuja

What:  Founder and CEO at Orbis

About: Soniya’s crypto journey began as a retail investor.

Hiccup: The lack of knowledge, awareness, and representation is what she found to be the biggest hurdle in the industry. At conferences and with VCs, she has found being a young white male more favorable than a brown female.

Advice to Women: Ahuja states that Web3 should create a more equitable future, but we are far from reaching that target. With the knowledge obtained from Twitter spaces and YouTube videos, women can make money and achieve financial independence without leaving their houses.

She adds, “Many women are bullied or forced into submission across the globe by their wage-earning spouses. Afraid of being unable to survive without a job, many women silently bear the abuse for the sake of themselves and their children. Web3 empowers every person out there to make money as long as they can connect to the internet.”

Ahuja feels that bringing unbiased and fair information to readers is as vital as possible. With publication houses like TheCoinRepublic, this gap gets filled as TCR truly educates and onboards people about the market as it ideally should.

“Every Stereotypical Women’s Role Requires Financial Literacy.”

Who: Brandi Veil

What: Founder and CEO at Being Investments

CMO of Avisa Games Guild, and Impact NFT Strategist

About: Brandi’s achievements are a list of glory and make womankind proud. She has been a speaker at the UN and is an industry leader in the crypto space.

Advice to Women: Her investment advice is to pick companies committed to their motive, use leverage when needed, and always be a curious pumpkin. Veil believes that every stereotypical role a woman has to play, actively or passively, requires financial literacy. For her, knowledge is the key to financial independence. She adds that “technological advancements offer women opportunities to gain knowledge and skills in a genderless economy. Tech is genderless, making it an extraordinary time for women and equality.”

Her interest in digital currencies began when she saw the potential to help unbanked women without access to traditional banking systems. As per Veil, media houses like The Coin Republic care about equality, transparency, and education. She finds TCR focused on community values and fully supports platforms that help generate awareness around digital currencies.

“In a world of common scenarios like divorces, women must seize opportunities and abolish financial barriers.”

Who: Jodeen Bergstrom

What: Godmother to NFT and AI

About: Jodeen Bergstrom has invested significant time and effort into researching the ins and outs of digital currencies.

Advice to Women: She views financial independence as necessary for women due to increasingly common lifestyle changes, such as divorces. Abolishing financial barriers allows them to seize opportunities without restrictions. Thus, Jodeen feels that digital currency presents a thrilling chance for women to conquer financial freedom and integrate into the modern world.

She believes that media agencies like TheCoinRepublic, play an integral role in promoting financial literacy concerning cryptocurrencies. As a news platform committed to providing up-to-date evaluations, TCR can be a fruitful assistance in achieving this endeavor, especially for women who want to be heard in the industry.

“Financial literacy in women helps maintain a balance of power within the home and community.”

Who: Jenny Bhatt

What: NFT influencer

About: Jenny Bhatt is an artist by passion and an NFT influencer. Her journey with NFTs began when she stumbled upon them in a clubhouse room while on a post-travel quarantine. The NFT influencer’s journey was smooth, but it made her realize that many women have a fearful mindset in Web3.

She adds, “There are very few women in Web3, and the reason might be twofold:

  • Women themselves are intimidated by technology and step back.
  • Secondly, the industry’s purview of them not being good as tech professionals.”

Advice to women: Jenny advises women to follow their gut while investing rather than chasing the hype. JOMO (Joy of missing out) over FOMO (Fear of missing out). She adds, “a digital currency in the mainstream world opens up new opportunities for investment, retail, and entertainment. Women can benefit from convenience shopping for everyday purchases and yet another form of investment.”

Jenny believes financial literacy is especially important for women in patriarchal societies as it helps maintain a balance of power within the home and community. Providing financial literacy is the best way media houses like the Coin Republic can contribute to creating positive changes in society.

Ope realized that crypto could take her fashion art to another level by leveraging digital art. She found that she could be a creator in the metaverse economies during her exploration of metaverse projects running on certain cryptos.

Advice to women: Ope believes in looking for utility when choosing cryptocurrencies and believes that DYOR is essential for women entering the market. She says Crypto gives freedom to achieve financial independence and gain access to a global market. Women can earn from crypto on their terms from anywhere at all.

Ope appreciates how The Coin Republic “is taking an active role in educating women about financial literacy and awareness” amid a world slowly learning to accept crypto.

“Crypto is the best for domestic violence victims, especially because we can load our crypto to a ledger.”

Who: MetaRuth

What: NFT artist

About: MetaRuth began her journey into digital art at Clubhouse. She believes crypto can help women, especially domestic violence victims, take control of their lives. Crypto and an ‘insurance license’ helped Ruth pay her bills and survive. She says that had it not been for crypto, she would have been living off unemployment benefits.

Advice to women: Ruth’s advice is to ‘take profits’ and not depend on crypto as the sole source of income. She believes it is similar to gambling in several ways.

The other leading powers in the crypto industry

Who: Vessy Mink

What: Artist, Entrepreneur

Mink’s first NFT was a 17-minute live music concert (with her band THM NME) for the Madbop new years party. “I found no hurdles as a woman in the industry. I only see & witness just how empowering women are, in fact, to the industry!” Mink said.

Advice to women: Vessy wants to follow the lead of your inner voice and will always guide

About: you are immeasurably on your path to becoming and creating the trends that will ultimately help others. Women can benefit from digital currency by knowing how to utilize it. It is worthy of our recognition of it coming to be because of the great divides that exist within our collective economic infrastructure. The people back digital currency….all the people worldwide will use it how they best see fit. Owning your own money is vital. Knowing how to own your own money is vital.

She’s connected with several inspiring women on Web3. Crypto allowed her to work and be there for her children at the same time.

Advice to women: Control your emotions and avoid FOMO (Fear of Missing Out); do your research (DYOR), and do not invest more than you’re willing to lose. Patience is essential.

About: Her crypto journey began in 2017, and she was curious about not fully understanding what it was and what it would be capable of. A few friends talked about it, made some investments, and started to learn how to trade.

Advice to women: As far as investing tips, the biggest thing is to learn the fundamentals of blockchain. Understand the technology and how it can be utilized in the real world. When investing in projects, ensure they have a sustainable business mindset; the market will be saturated again when more of the traditional web-to-ecosystem catches up. So find projects and solutions that solve problems and make it easier for people to understand the technology.

Wrapping Up!

In an ever-changing and expanding space, it is exciting to see an increasing number of female professionals entering the sector. While there is still more progress regarding representation, International Women’s Day is a reminder to extend our gratitude for their contribution. And righteously true, as they say, “when a sleeping woman wakes, she moves mountains.” From offering mentoring programs, creating career advancements, or raising awareness of the vast range of opportunities within the tech world through new initiatives– positively impacting all genders, women in crypto lead the way towards a brighter tomorrow.
