Decentraland (MANA)
The project was initially launched in 2017 but was not made public until 2020. The metaverse platform is based on Ethereum blockchain while MANA is an ERC-20 token fueling their virtual economy. As of now, the token was trading at the market price of $0.522, a gain of over 10% in the past 25 hours.
Decentraland hosts their annual fashion week that has attracted renowned industry names including Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana and more. The platform is always organizing something interesting for their users every now and then. In October 2022, the project had a valuation of $1 Billion.
Axie Infinity (AXS)
If you are a Pokemon fan, this game is for you. Axie Infinity was inspired by the anime of the same name. Here, users use characters dubbed ‘Axies’ to breed, battle or trade. Moreover, these avatars have a real life valuation considering they can be sold at official Axie Marketplace or secondary NFT platforms like OpenSea.
The metaverse game gained massive popularity in the Philippines during covid-19. When the citizens were seeking jobs or revenue streams while the world locked down, Axie Infinity became the ultimate savior for them. It allowed unemployed people to become the breadwinners for their respective families.
Currently, the token was trading at a market value of $6.94 at the time of writing, up by over 1% at the publication time. The token reached its all-time high a couple of years back in November 2021, reaching $165 during the month. In contrast, it has lost over 95% of its value to this date.
The Sandbox (SAND)
One of the most captivating projects, The Sandbox is, to this date, among the most popular metaverses globally. The game was so appealing to Snoop Dogg, a rap artist, that he created a digital twin to his mansion. People can get exclusive access to his digital home via NFTs and hangout with the DoggFather in VIP parties hosted in The Sandbox.
MOOKY (MOOK)
Now this might sound new to many, but the project is doing wonders with its vision to plant trees across the globe. It is a community driven token offering the people a chance to contribute to their ultimate mission. The initiative also provides the users with NFT collections where holders can get access to exclusive perks and Mooky Ventures Club. The project has already raised half a Million dollars and will potentially double the amount in the forthcoming days.
