London Blockchain Conference (LBC) 2023 is underway from May 31 to June 2, 2023, bringing enterprises and blockchain technologies together. London Blockchain Conference – Three Days of Blockchain Supremacy

LBC Conference Day 1 – Why Bigger is Better
Day 1 at the conference was dedicated to the size and scalability of blockchain with the motto “Bigger is Better.” It’s a key theme for LBC 2023; the panel of experts brainstormed on the virtue of scalability to a vast crowd and QEII Center.
Ralph Wallace, Program Director & IPv6 Lead at Aptive Resources, said the challenge is making blockchain the next revolution. Speaking from experience handling massive projects, he argues that IPv6 could facilitate scalability for peer-to-peer networks, especially in blockchain technology.
Wallace also noted the potential of IPv6 in revolutionizing the blockchain landscape. He referred to the problem of limited addresses in IPv4, which is still widely used for P2P interaction and often requires intermediaries. IPv6 takes the best from the previous version leaving the intermediaries, but still, enough network space is available to facilitate multiple users.
Fellow panelists and IPv6 expert Latif Ladid, who holds the chair of 5G World Alliance and is the founder and president of the IPv6 Forum, also argued about the scalability problem with IPv4—especially the lack of address space in the protocol.
Pointing toward real-life use cases, Music producer and CEO of Distro Mint, E.Smitty, spoke about the benefit of scalability and its possible impact on people in real life. Referring to 30-second or better count on platforms like Spotify for getting paid for the stream, he said the current model does not benefit the artists.
Day 2 sets the premise for “Reducing Risk & Improving Trust with Blockchain.” U.S. actor, author, and Crypto Commentator Ben McKenzie will join the panel discussion on “Regulation to Enable the Growth of Blockchain and Digital Currency.” A series of exciting sessions would then follow it.
The sessions would discuss ways to mitigate the underlying risks, ensure trust in the system, regain the customer’s conference after FTX-like events, and On-Chain versus Layer-2 scaling options.
The London Blockchain Conference Day 3 theme is “Driving Competitiveness and Innovation with Blockchain.” Sessions would include multiple keynote speeches and how a “Digital Gold” System Should Really Work.
