A survey has been done recently to know how many people do really like cryptocurrency and how many are interested to buy it in the future. But it doesn’t seem to go so easy. Cryptocurrency has failed to show its charm and increase the enthusiasm among people, especially the Generation Z. According to the reports of the survey conducted by Business Insider that is released on 5th July 2019, Generation Z has no plan to buy Cryptocurrency.
As per the reports, 1,884 residents between the ages of 13 to 21 were surveyed to get opinions about the future of Cryptocurrency by Generation Z by SurveyMonkey Audience Partner Cint. The question that was asked to the survey participants was how likely they want to buy Cryptocurrency in the upcoming six months. And here is the result:
52%: “Not at all.”
17%: “Not so likely.”
15%: “Somewhat likely.”
6%: “Very likely.”
5%: “Extremely likely.”
4%: They gave different answers, mostly confused and unspecified.
The survey was in the process since January, before the recent start of the bull market. “The reinvigorated market could cause some of the teens in the survey to rethink their position, and it may spur the 26% who said they were somewhat likely, very likely, or extremely likely to purchase cryptocurrency to pull the trigger” notes Business Insider.
As per the reports were given by Cointelegraph, a survey has been done by Moscow based cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Lab and the reports got revealed on 17th June 2019 states that merely 19% of people have purchased cryptocurrency over the globe.
Also the United States based firm for the asset management, Fidelity Investments has also released the survey result at the beginning of May which states that 22% of the institutional investors are the one who already owns the cryptocurrency.
