Tim Draper, one of the most renowned personalities in the entire crypto market known for his incredible bullish prediction of Bitcoin of $250,000, has been some of his deepest concerns about the Ethereum’s Issuance Rate.
Billionaire venture capitalist Tim Draper has always been known for his enormous support for the crypto world, bitcoin, ethereum, and many other blockchains.
However, there has been something that he always seems to have been bothered about. And that is Ethereum’s economics. To be specific in the matter, Draper has shown his utmost concerns for the Ethereum’s Issuance rate of between 2% and 4% of ETH supply each year.
While in an interview with the Ethereum Classic Labs, Tim Draper clearly stated:
“That (i.e, ethereum’s issuance rate of between 2% and 4% of ETH supply each year) worries me because it’s all under – [Vitalik] Buterin has the whole – he can just arbitrarily say, ‘hey we’re just going to print 10% of this s**t.’ … He may not but whoever follows him might. That’s the part I don’t like, the concentration there. The whole point is to be decentralized. You want a fixed number.”
However, this doesn’t mean Tim is completely disappointed in Ethereum as because Draper is a big fan of the Ethereum Smart Contracts. When asked about it in the interview, he said:
“That currency has had a lead in how smart contracts are built…Although I’m seeing a lot of smart contracts built around Bitcoin, I know that the early pioneering work was done around Ethereum.”
