Dilip Rao, Ripple’s Global Head of Innovation Retires

When one gives his all into something and proves his worth, it’s really hard to bid him a Goodbye. But the fact that “the one who came, has to part” still stands true. With this above like in context, we see Dilip Rao, Global Head of Infrastructure Innovation of Ripple, announce his retirement.

Dilip Rao started as Ripple‘s Managing Director and covered the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia-Pacific, in 2014. For three long years, he kept working for the development of the company with the same position, and later, in Dec 2017, he was promoted to look after the industrial and corporate relations and collaboration.

In January, this year, he was posted as the Global Head of Infrastructure and Innovation for his excellent financial strategies ever since the independent cryptocurrencies came into the market. This, in short, does tells us his capabilities and responsibilities he had.

The news of his retirement has floated everywhere, ever since it came from Dilip’s tweet. An hour later of the first tweet, the retiree responded to all the congratulatory messages from the community.

He did mention that he would keep updating and “comment from time to time”, with certain limitations of his own, due to privacy concerns of the firm (the Non-Disclosure Agreements NDA ).

In his last meetings, before his retirement, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone, whosoever had and is contributing to the development of the Giant. In his extension to his vote of thanks, he also mentioned the XRP committee for the aid they provide. Rao also mentioned his plan of moving to Australia after the end of 2019.

Though there isn’t a clear word from him for his move, it can be hypothetically said that it is a quest to work with Australia and add values to the land.

Being the founder of Paymate Pvt Ltd, Australia’s first peer-to-peer payment service and the founding president of IIMPACT Australia, which is a non-governmental organization (NGO) aiming for better education of the girl child. Thus even after his retirement, he continues to strive for the best.
