Ethereum’s Progressive Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW) Audit have been released

Ethereum progressive Pow Audit Released

The Ethereum Core developers had asked the Ethereum Cat herders to evaluate the sentiment prevailing in the market around Progressive Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW) and at the same time arrange the audit to assess the safety around it. Finally, The Ethereum Cat herders have announced that both the hardware and the software audit for Progressive Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW) have been released.

Progressive Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW) is a mining algorithm that would impact dollar 655 million annual markets for mining. Progressive Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW) is aimed at increasing the performance of general purpose hardware world GPUs and reducing the efficiency of specialized mining devices called ASICs.

Even though the work is almost completed for the Progressive Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW). It is not sure when it will come into implementation as the exact date is yet to be determined. While publishing the audit reports for the Progressive Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW).

The Cat herders have made it clear that it is not up to them to decide when this change will come into effect. This decision is totally up to the community, including miners, dapp developers, core developers, and those who run or use Ethereum software.
