Ripple speaks about the new position of a director of institutional markets, whose main job will revolve around a wider expansion on the XRP by accelerating its ‘’utility and value’’.
‘’This leader will be responsible for expanding XRP market infrastructure and assisting company efforts to grow market maker, broker, exchange and other institutional relationships. This leader will work closely with a team of financial professionals on the Institutional Markets team, responsible for managing and expanding XRP liquidity to enhance utility and value’’
The Ripple’s office in New York City is inviting the position, it will also assist the company to give rise to new services based on XRP and more commercial products to flood the market with. The desired candidate will have more than ten years of experience in the capital markets, with FX or commodities as the main field with remarkable skill in dealing with the relationships across crypto and traditional institutional participants.
Some of the prominent functions of the director will be-
- Helping and guiding the vice president in the company strategy for enterprise-grade infrastructure and finding more ideas of how the overall XRP ecosystem can be enlarged.
- Dealing well with market makers, brokers, exchanges, liquidators, and institutional market participants globally so as to make a good bond with them. Also to construct the appropriate strategy for market buildout through a partnership with internal stakeholders product, engineering, business development
- Suggesting plans to boost the digital asset efficiency to make ripple’s vision of an Internet of Value a REALITY.
- To come up with new innovations to combine with existing market representatives to escalate liquidity growth of XRP. Developing and expanding the traditional market infrastructure for XRP.
- To collaborate with compliance, legal and finance to ensure efficient and compliant strategy execution.

He will have a profound knowledge of market infrastructure, clearing, settlement, prime brokerage and custody along with a large network and stellar reputation with traditional market participants so as to maintain good relations with them
