According to Bitcoin.com, leading Venezuelan aviation academy, Caracas Air stepped into the crypto world as it started accepting payments in bitcoin.
Fees in Crypto for Aviation Courses
The CEO of Caracas Air, Oliver Laufer announced that the academy will accept payments in cryptocurrencies for anyone who is willing to take up their courses. Moreover, the academy has allocated special rebates and financial plans for people who opt to pay the fees in crypto. Caracas Air is the most prominent aviation certification academy. Its new initiative involving crypto payments is a sign of rising crypto adoption in Venezuela.
Aviation Courses Certified by the Venezuelan aeronautical authority (INAC)
The courses in which the students can pay using crypto are cabin crew, flight dispatchers, professional teaching induction courses, safety management systems (SMS), reduced vertical separation minimum (RVSM), and performance-based navigation (PBN). In a year, the academy educates approximately 900 students and all the courses are officially licensed by the Venezuelan aeronautical authority (INAC). However, the discounts and plans haven’t been disclosed by the academy yet.
Venezuela’s crypto adoption has been exponentially rising over the past few years. A little before Venezuelan customers from the biggest satellite TV provider, Simple TV were entitled to pay their bill in cryptos. And Caracas’s new crypto program is another initiative that will contribute to the cryptocurrency space.
