Payments made to the users in the form of Steems in accordance to the contents published and curated. The company recently announced that DLive, a streaming platform relaunching on steemit. Earlier partnered with Steemit but shifted to Tron due to some reason.

On 9th April 2019, PewDiePie popular YouTuber established it’s an exclusive partnership with DLive. The partnership made due to his frustrations over YouTube’s centralised power over his content. This might mark the beginning of a massive blockchain-based streaming platform’s popularity. However, a major concern still remains as to if platforms like DLive would be able to guarantee quality based content limiting harmful and indecent exposures.
