Vechain’s popularity has been increasing at a very fast rate due to the various use cases the project has so far. This successful trend seems to be continuing. Det Norske Veritas (DNV) revealed the launch of MyCare powered by Vechain.

MyCare provides solutions to avoid infections and manage risk efficiently by using the data stored in the blockchain. By doing this, they help companies form efficient policies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The platform is equipped with ToolChainBaaS developed by VeChain. Since 2018, DNV GL has been investing in and using VeChain’s resources and infrastructure. Only last year, DNV launched a supply chain assurance solution MyStory using this same platform.

MyCare solution has a target to undertake any difficulties in making the workspace a safe environment. They make sure to overcome these difficulties and keep a check on the workplaces as to whether they conform with the regulations during this pandemic. Particularly, it tries to integrate new risk management policies into existing processes.

Sunny Lu, co-founder, and CEO of VeChain stated that the blockchain would induce confidence in the data integrity, business credibility, and mutual trust during collaborations. Using MyCare, DNV GL undertakes a certain number of assessments of a firm. These assessments give data on how ready and mature the firm is in managing risk. After the assessments, they offer services that create custom programs based on the MyCare methodology. They make sure that these programs are created keeping in mind the customers’ needs.

Once all the procedures are successfully over, DNV GL permits the company to conform with the policy. Subsequently, they store the assessment and policy information in the VeChain blockchain. Customers and stakeholders can now have access to this information by just scanning the QR code ingrained in the MyCare trust mark.
