Jack shared the news focusing on their new upcoming mission, Lightning or LDK (lightning Development Kit). So now square crypto is focusing on Lighting, and in the next days, we can see their lightning development key.

Square crypto is a new crypto initiative started by the business platform company square, so its forthcoming launch is now going to help the developers with introducing lightning in addition to their bitcoin wallet.
LDK is a combined form of an all-new API, some language binding, demo applications, and many other products that would make the lightning easy and safe.
Square crypto also mentioned that this all-new project is as per the developer demand, and in several projects, they only decided to focus on the integration of the lightning network with the wallet.
The API is somehow going to based on the rust lightning project, and this API is going to provide a clean interface and minimal dependencies. Rust is also one of the safest system language and a language which will attract developer that can help in sustaining LDK.
With this lightning integration, the existing bitcoin wallet, the wallet will support the multi-device, multi-application access to a single portfolio. Also, the wallet is going to have UX/security/ privacy trade-offs.
Adding some lightning capabilities will not need to re-create a separate wallet just for lightning and allowing making wallet UX/security/ privacy trade-offs, which help in customizing their state backup to a cloud service.
Till now, there is no such confirmation of completion of the lighting project, and this project is its developing stage, and very soon, we can see this update in Square crypto.
