The Microblogging site, Twitter, has given an emoji to Bitcoin, which will be triggered with the use of hashtags “#BTC” and “#Bitcoin.” Twitter CEO and Co-Founder Jack Dorsey announced his Social media platform’s newest Feature, which he demonstrated in his Twitter Bio as well.
In the platform, it got a mixed welcome though some praised the addition while others perceived it as a threat. One of such is Bitcoin SV proponent and online gambling magnate Calvin Ayre. Who took this matter in twitter itself and tweeted,
Hi Jack. BTC is not Bitcoin and with the lawsuits that I know are coming related to this issue, this year. Your putting your finger on the scale on the wrong side of facts is not going to end well for Twitter.

Bitcoin Vs. Bitcoin SV
The tweet mainly points out the conflict between Bitcoin and Bitcoin SV. Bitcoin has been quite a buzz for a long time. In 2017, a new cryptocurrency was forked away from the original bitcoin. It took the name Bitcoin cash and quickly entered the top-ten cryptocurrency rankings based on market capitalization.
Later in November 2018, Bitcoin Cash forked intending to return to Satoshi’s “original vision.” The original version had maintained Satoshi Nakamoto’s vision and got named Bitcoin SV.
If we look at the other side of the spectrum, we get the name of Roger Ver and Jihan Wu in this conflict the early investor in bitcoin, bitcoin-related startups and an early promoter of bitcoin. Roger ver has been criticized for running Bitcoin.com to trick people into believing that Bitcoin Cash as the “Original Bitcoin” while labeling Bitcoin as “Bitcoin Core.”
Bitcoin SV proponents quickly spotted how this orange Bitcoin logo can cause potential damage to the Satoshi Vision’s Bitcoin marketing machine. Meanwhile, prominent investor Roger ver expressed accused Bitcoin SV supporters of suggesting legal action saying, “Anyone trying to sue for patents could only benefit from peers. It’s an example of connected capitalism trying to monopolize.”
Bitcoin SV supporters might oppose this step by twitter. Still, the addition of Bitcoin Symbol in the twitter itself is a big step for crypto-verse as the leading currency is getting mainstream attention and reorganization. Though this is yet to see were this legal war would go.
