Crypto derivative platform ErisX has hired a market risk management expert. ErisX is known for providing individuals as well as institutions a single, innovative portal to access digital assets and markets.

ErisX has combined professional tools, advanced technology, sophisticated regulatory oversight, and lots more. It provides the well-known workflow of capital markets to the users of its digital market.

Vindhu Singh became the first chief risk officer of the company and will work under Head of Eris Clearing, Liz James. His duty is to set the risk management priorities for the firm’s clearinghouse business roadmap along with the management of credits, market, and liquidity risk.

Vindhu Singh previously worked as a business management officer at Hudson River Trading, a quantitative trading firm. Prior, he also worked as the risk officer and director of analytics at Sun Trading, a market-making firm.

Hudson River Trading acquired Sun Trading, adding Vindhu Singh to its team. Vindhu has also worked as chief risk officer at Stark Investments and UBS Investments Bank.

ErisX hired Vindhu Singh for the C-suite leadership team during a process which of growth as it realized the necessity of traditional infrastructure. Recently, ErisX has realized that it needs to create new roles, increase its staff, and evolve in the digital asset space.

In a press interview, Vindhu Singh talked about his decision to join ErisX. He said,

“I adopted the productive yr that they had in 2019 with the launch of their digital asset markets, completion of their expertise stack, and the flexibility to safe a derivatives clearing group (DCO) license.

He further added that he is all set to become a part of the workforce of market professionals at ErisX and that he will try his best to help the organization through its next phase of progress. He is excited about his job of managing the distinctive dangers, which are a crucial part of a regulated digital asset platform.

In December, ErisX released the option to bodily settle the Bitcoin futures contract. The company has also partnered with software program supplier Etale to supply its customer details and buying and selling merchandise.
