Justin Sun, the CEO of BitTorrent Inc. recently took to Twitter, to update the latest statistics on the DAU of their products.
Exciting updates re @BitTorrent ecosystem & $BTT in the last 30 days! #BitTorrent’s DAU has increased 30%, adding 6 mil DAU, which will hit 30 mil in April. @OfficialDLive’s DAU has doubled! We will launch BTT staking so all #BTT hodlers can receive revenue on DLive in April!

BitTorrent Speed will be released fully to the fresh users from April Onwards.The expected rise in DAU is around 30 million from the Second Quarter. BitTorrent speeds offers users BTT in exchange for seeding and bandwidth to enhance faster downloads. BT Speed will be updated with BTT for all it’s current 30 million DAU in the Q2. Sun also cleared that the network has maintained its stability and the network effects have gone up significantly after the launch of BitTorrent Token.
All About Internet Liberation Squad
Now, for the most awaited piece of information for the Internet Liberation Squad, the first decentralised product to be launched on BitTorrent File System will be DLive. Dlive is the largest live streaming community on the Blockchain and is powered by Lino Blockchain. Sun clarified that there are a lot of other products BTFS’s pipeline which will be released one by one, once the second quarter starts.BTFS will be partially rolled out to the fresh installs to enhance the network effects. Fresh Installs are expected to range between 400k-1M a day.
With the releases of all these decentralised products, one thing is certain that the old trashy capitalised internet that we are using these days is bound to end.
