The number of people owning 1 BTC is on rise as days are passing by. This tremendous rise in year 2020 is almost double than what the bitcoin markets had seen in the year 2015. Just a year ago, the number of people reported to own 1 BTC were only 707,000.000. This is a real-time evidence of how there is a positive increase in the accumulation of digital assets. 

Despite having a disadvantage of numbers dropping in extreme circumstances when bitcoin down falls, the graph however shows a consistency in the growth of the number of addresses that hold 1+ coins. Bitcoin knocks a new ATH of 797,632.000 on March 29, 2020 just after having the recent ATH of 797,580.000 on March 28, 2020.

Number of Addresses Holding More than 1 BTC

The number of people owning 1 BTC is on rise as days are passing by. March has shown in an increase in the number of addresses holding 1+ coin with numbers almost about to reach 800,000.00.

According to the on-chain data and intelligence firm, Glassnode, the number of people owning 1 BTC shows an increase by 52 new addresses just in a day following a jump from 797,580.000 to 797,632.000 on March 29, 2020.Bitcoin saw a similar increase this month on March 11, 2020.

With the positive growth in the number of people holding 1BTC, bitcoin markets might have turned to being optimistic in looking forward to see the same growth in the coming months as well. The time when  the number of addresses that hold more than 10 BTC is also not far from reaching its ATH. Addition to that, addresses owning a balance of almost more than 1,000 BTC have also been showing a rise.
