A blockchain-startup company BlockBastards has recently announced that it is going to introduce a proof-of-gameplay reward mechanism soon. It will permit any game created on the Unity gaming engine to add token-based features.
BlockBastards’s exclusive platform Qudo
The Portugal-based BlockBastards operates as a software development company that builds decentralized blockchain products for AI, gaming, and reputation management.
BlockBastards’s exclusive platform Qudo will provide game developers a player engagement mechanism that will reward the gaming activity with a cryptocurrency during the promotion of their games. Mainly, the Qudo will run on Telos blockchain.
During a press release, BlockBastards notified, the compatibility of Qudo with Unity will bring it usable for a huge mass of developers and players. On the basis of Unity’s own user base, around 3.3 billion devices run games that are created on the platform for the last one year and Unity is the core operations of about half of the games that are built across the platforms that include a majority of mobile games.
Managing Director of BlockBastards João Abrantes stated that the blockchain games are entering into the market rapidly. These games are created mainly with the thought of cryptocurrency in mind.
Qudo will run on the Telos blockchain
The announcement was then shared on Twitter saying BlockBastards and Telos bring unity games to the blockchain.

However, Qudo will run on Telos blockchain, the latter will be working with the blockchain platform BlockBastards to provide marketing and technical support to the venture. It is expected to launch the project by the end of the second quarter.
Telos blockchain is a decentralized system where token holders have the permission to change the direction of the chain and the method of its operation.
The CEO of the Telos Foundation, Suvi Rinkinen addressed that it is an honor to have Qudos on Telos platform, there are so many benefits to the system including a novel way for the developers to gain more money for the games they are going to create.
