Is this a revenge taken by YouTube?

This action was taken by YouTube after a week of the lawsuit filed by Ripple against YouTube claiming the channel had failed to secure fake XRP giveaway scams on its platform. The lawsuit describes the channel’s refusal to suspend scam channels that have made the users being cheated out of hundreds of thousands of dollars along with damaging the reputation of Ripple.

However, Schwartz’s channel was active on the platform for many years and that is why the suspension of his account is quite close to the beginning of legal proceedings.
