Hong Kong Disneyland Accepting Payments in John McAfee’s Privacy Coin GHOST

In a recent tweet, the Ghost by Mcafee announced its partnership with a vending company, ivendPAY. The machine allows exchanging cryptocurrency, electronic currency, or even fiat currency via a vending machine. Over 60 vending machines deployed throughout Hong Kong, including Disneyland. Hence, it encompasses its vision of privacy as well as real user adoption.

John McAfee announced via a social media post that his company has come up with a new proof-of-stake coin. The founder of the famed antivirus technology, McAfee, has reportedly named the cryptocurrency Ghost. Additionally, John McAfee to give a filmed interview at NASDAQ over the privacy protocol that goes live next month. He will also debrief users about the future of such protocols.

Bucking the traditional sale of coins

McAfee has rescinded the traditional method of selling coins i.e., Initial Coin Offering (ICO). They have come up with a unique way of promoting the digital currency that has turned eyeballs everywhere. Furthermore, A report suggests that 25% of the supply of Ghost will be through ESH holders. The sanctity of users’ privacy will be upheld as all transactions will be anonymous. However, Bitcoin does not guarantee anonymity as IP tracking has the potential to disclose your identity. Moreover, The Ghost mainnet went live on June 22, 2020, and promises faster transaction times with lower fees. 

Functionalities of Ghost 

Ghost rewards its users via staking or through veterans who possess at least 20,000 Ghost. The mainnet approves that 12 new Ghost tokens will be mined every 2 minutes. Token holders will be able to sell products privately in the Ghost marketplace, and encrypted chat application to stay in touch with friends and family via the platform.
