Bitcoin Core Lead Maintainer Wladimir van der Laan decides to be more in the background role to manage the operations of Bitcoin core. According to his statement, he will be more focused on decentralization projects. So from now on, his primary focus will be on Core Bitcoin projects but not to be in a lead role.
Reason for resignation
Before, Wladimir van der Laan has a janitorial nature of work for Bitcoin Core who has all types of responsibility to care for the smooth running of work. As Bitcoin Core is the major software for maintaining the Bitcoin network, Wladimir’s work eventually became like a leader from the perspective of the community.
