  • Young minds of the UK investing in crypto very actively
  • Financial analysts are trying hard to track and predict the recent drift in the investments made in crypto compared to stocks and shares
  • The number will soon go down, as per Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, UK.

The growing demand for crypto has led to Brits investing in crypto rather than in any other forms of shares or stocks. Many surveys have been performed, which shows that a whopping percentage of UK investors have shifted their interest into crypto investment. There has been a massive amount of volatility in crypto prices, yet it gives a promising outcome in the present days, making more money in crypto than in any other market. A survey performed by Aj Bell showed that over 7 percent of investors of the UK had invested their money in crypto, while only 5% of investors had spent on shares and the stock market. Among the various forms of investment platforms, ISA shares are a form of savings account wherein a user can invest their money without the need to pay taxes.

Researchers had a different say, unlike the survey results

A group of online market researchers performed the above survey and gathered a total of 1269 responses. This particular result was completely unexpected, and the analysts were not prepared for this; they had a different view. Most of them thought that since there lies a huge risk in buying and selling crypto, people might be against it. Still, after looking at the polls, the people are madly running after crypto, and that crypto investment had surpassed the other stock and shared investments. On closely analyzing the polling data, it was found that a significant part of the male population had indulged themselves in crypto, and most of them were below the age of 35. After further analysis, 70 percent of the investors had made a profit, and only a few 12 percent incurred losses. This is a huge number if we see it from an analyst’s perspective. It shows that people are not just blindly running after crypto; they are making profits.

The opposite results from UK surveys

Shedding some light on the survey performed by UK researchers, 2000 responses had been recorded, out of which, 52 percent reported investing in stocks and gold. A few believe crypto is out of their league and that they will stand behind in the crypto market if they join them. As per Aj Bell’s analysis, young investors were more interested in crypto, as has been said by ThisisMoney, a finance company in the UK. One reason for this could be that younger minds have more confidence and determination; they have more curiosity to explore new domains.

However, the company analyst feels that these young minds are diving into this field too early and without even learning about the pros and cons of crypto closely. These younger populations, who do not have many assets, have accumulated a few by investing in crypto but will be in a bad state if the volatility of cryptocurrency takes a toll in a negative direction. Looking at the recent news of the crypto markets crashing at several intervals, researchers predicted that the number of investors would slowly go down.
