British Artist Adrian Chesterman’s digital artwork is all set to overcome the price of $160,000 in the form of NFTs.
Adrian Chesterman is the well-known British Artist who is likely to see his artwork go beyond the price of $160,000. It is a digital artwork that only exists with the artist as a high-resolution file. It showcases the parallel between fiat money and cryptocurrency like bitcoin.
NFTs a craze
The crypto Train has come under the auction in NFTs and was seen by many of its owners’ high profile clients before going live for auction. Non-fungible tokens have become a craze among the crypto community. They are digital collectables that are encoded onto a blockchain- similar technology in which cryptocurrencies run.
In recent times only many well-known artists have been associated with NFTs. Musicians, Global sports franchises, and fashion brands have also launched their NFTs. Christie sold the digital artwork in April which became the third most expensive work ever sold by a living artist.
Stephen Howes, Director, Thomas Crown Art, said that before the Crypto Train went into the auction, many crypto enthusiasts and Silicon Valley investors seem to understand the market of NFTs and that they were very serious about this art form. They had given offers as they understood this exploding virtual trend.
He further said people are now seeing NFTs as the most important investment megatrend of the decade. Hence, this pre-public sale indicates that the artwork will pass past the $160,000 reservation tag. It will not be a surprise if it is sold for even $270,000 plus.
