A nonprofit foundation from Argentina, Bitcoin Cash Argentina is eager to know about bitcoin cash and its adoption in the country. The foundation has successfully funded its second Flipstarter campaign, receiving 250 bitcoin cash to support its operations for the next set of goals proposed.
Expressing its happiness and thanking all who have funded and helped Bitcoin Cash Argentina to reach this milestone. The foundation posted the thank you note on its Twitter account. Among the big names who have donated to the foundation are Roger Ver and Marcelo Fleischer, who are also known as Majamalu, an Argentinian Bitcoin Cash supporter.
Expanding horizon
The foundation is now on an expansion spree and will use these funds to onboard the next 150 merchants in the country during the next 180 days. The foundation is also working towards bringing remittance operations to propose the use of bitcoin cash for this function.
New map for frictionless work
The foundation is also working on the new adoption map. This will help Argentina to find businesses that accept bitcoin cash for their services. As per the proposal, a new search engine will be introduced to the website of the Argentina foundation. It will help the clients and will help them in locating the correct merchants that accept bitcoin cash in Argentina. This is created to give a frictionless experience to the users when searching.
The foundation is working on upgrades so that the users do not feel frustrated when dealing with a merchant and later found out that they do not accept bitcoin cash in Argentina. Hence, similar business tools are upgraded with the latest business moves. The foundation’s approach is to minimize this possibility by running its own map tool, maintained by the team.
The foundation has more than 100 merchants currently using the funds of its first flipstarter campaign. They are even onboarding K24, a convenience store chain with more than 80 PoS in the country. The team also coordinated to meet suppliers of K24, opening the door for B2B bitcoin cash-based operations along with these companies.
With the raising awareness about the adoption of bitcoin cash and funds raising in its second round flipstarter campaign, the foundation is all set to make a new mark in the country with promoting merchants and users on the single platform.
