Hence, the residents of the nation can receive scholarships to join the Technical Training Center for Mining and Administration of Digital Crypto Assets.
Axie Infinity scholarship holders get specialized training
José Alejandro Terán is a gubernatorial candidate from Venezuela, and the aspiring governor who represents the country’s ruling party. Alejandro has started an initiative promising the citizens to offer Axie Infinity scholarships to the ones who are interested to join the Technical Training Center for Mining and Administration of Digital Crypto Assets.It is known that the initiative has been commenced as a part of the La Guaira Digital program. Notably, the program aims to fast-track growth and induce economic stability in the nation.
Indeed, Alejandro’s training center will offer specialized training to the Axie Infinity scholarship holders. It is also worth noting that the training will be provided in Non-Fungible Tokens, cryptocurrency mining, and trading.
Venezuelan initiative will be supported by four entities
The initiative commenced by Alejandro will be supported by four of the venezuelan entities. These entities include the National Superintendence of Cryptoassets (SUNACRIP), Axie Infinity Academy, the political group Independientes con Terán, and the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPsuv). According to Alejandro, the training powered by Axie Infinity Academy will include the installation and repair of networks, mining rigs, and virtual currency training.
Besides the scholarship initiative, Alejandro envisions the generation of “a thousand jobs”. He further cited that he feels that by helping our young generation build multiple sources, the nation can ensure economic stability for their families. And the crypto ecosystem could potentially bring 1k jobs a year.
Crypto adoption makes sense for
JP Thieriot, the CEO of crypto investment platform Uphold has recently spoken regarding the growing Bitcoin-based use cases for the Latin American market. He cited that El Salvador’s legalization of the flagship cryptocurrency has had a domino effect in expediting crypto adoption in the surrounding regions as well. Notably, such regions also include Venezuela and Colombia. Hence, following the scenario, Thieriot believed that cryptocurrency adoption makes more sense for such smaller economies rather than creating their own nation’s digital currency.
