The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has uncovered that $3.5 billion in crypto was seized during the monetary year 2021. This addresses 93% of all assets seized by its criminal examination unit during a similar time span. The organization hopes to hold onto billions of dollars more in cryptographic money one year from now. 

The Internal Revenue Service’s Criminal Investigation (CI) unit, the tas authority’s law requirement branch, delivered the 2021 Criminal Investigation Annual Report Thursday.
