According to a news release issued on Wednesday on December 15, GigLabs, a blockchain company, has launched an app that allows Shopify Plus merchants to create and sell non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on their Shopify site.

According to the press release, the GigLabs NFT App is accessible in the Shopify App Store and allows companies to quickly generate and sell NFTs on the Flow blockchain. Flow has over 2 million accounts, over 17 million unique NFTs, and over 10 million subsidiary market NFT sale transactions, according to the press release.

Merchants selling NFTs using the app need not need any prior programming or blockchain skills. Brian Burns, GigLabs’ Chief Product Officer, and co-founder emphasized the app’s simplicity.

The GigLabs NFT App is a simple platform that gives merchants the tools they need to develop, manage, and sell NFTs. It also provides NFT, a safe place to be stored.

The GigLabs NFT Shopify integration is built on Flow, a decentralized, developer-friendly blockchain with a multi-role architecture that is fast, decentralized, and developer-friendly. The Flow blockchain has no sharding scalability and trading environments that are ACID-compliant (ACID here stands for atomic, consistent, isolated, and durable). Over 17 million unique NFTs have been minted on the Flow blockchain alone, with over 10 million secondary market NFT sale transactions executed. The proof-of-stake Flow protocol now has over 2 million accounts.

Breaking and Infinite Labs collaborated closely with GigaLabs to build the app, and they are the first firms to use it to launch NFTs. Interested businesses must be Shopify Plus members, and the beta is currently accessible to members in the United States. Tobias Lütke, Shopify’s CEO, revealed the new NFT pilot program to his Twitter followers.

NFTs are expected to gain popularity as more producers utilize the tokens to store exclusive digital material including music, films, pictures, and art.

With the acquisition of RTFKT, an NFT collectible, and fashion brand, Nike expressed its support for NFTs earlier this week.

RTFKT offers a hybrid NFT and actual shoe collection, which is particularly appealing to the sneaker industry.

With over 2 million accounts, over 17 million individual NFTs created, and over 10 million secondary markets NFT sale transactions, Flow is the world’s fastest-growing blockchain. Flow uses Proof-of-Stake, which uses thousands of times less energy than Proof-of-Work blockchains, to provide an environmentally friendly architecture.

What is GitLab?

GitLab was founded in 2017 to empower companies to employ non-fungible tokens to strengthen their intellectual property to generate extra revenue streams, increase consumer engagement, and provide more value to their followers (NFTs). The firm collaborates with companies, agencies, and artists to provide simple tools for creating, minting, and selling NFTs that may be shown in completely customizable brand experiences.

The API-driven NFT Bridge platform, developed by GigLabs’ team of experienced blockchain engineers and NFT aficionados, provides versatile and scalable NFT tools that allow any brand to create any NFT experience conceivable.
