FTX will be official naming rights sponsor of Australia’s Blockchain Week this year, which will go live from 21st March to 25th March.

Blockchain Australia is the top network of industry in Australia, integrating authorities, industry, and academia together, to debate over opportunities associated with blockchain technology.

Blockchain Australia’s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Vallas, stated that appointment came in during watershed moment, as Australian ecosystem of Blockchain is getting mainstream.

Escalating interest in blockchain technology from prime monetary institutions, together with an indication of ascending regulations regarding sector, means the event is going to happen at a crucial period in the industry.

FTX CEO says that, partnership came as an initial iteration regarding the focus on assisting Australian market’s long term growth.

FTX is eyeing to make contributions regarding debates to advance the domestic sector, better security and protecting customers, and allowing monetary institutions to grow and strive in crypto sector.

Australian Blockchain week will occur soon after businessman’s address at Asian Financial Forum, where FTX CEO called officials for creating a single structure for crypto assets.

In December previous year, SBF led FTX amongst leading unicorn companies in 2021, standing at no. 11 with organization’s total valuation at $25 Billion.

The partnership came as the newest example of global cryptocurrency exchanges paying big bickies to get their titles under the nose of Aussies. In another instance, Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency exchange, closed a $25 Million deal for sponsoring the Australian Football league (AFL).

Blockchain CEO didn’t disclose monetary details regarding partnership, but he announced the event as massive.

SBF to Join The Event

Sam Bankman Fried will be among the 200 speakers joining the event, alongside some domestic personalities. AS per SBF, Australia has a lively and innovatory blockchain and crypto sector, and they are proud to be sponsoring the Australian Blockchain Week.

Australian Blockchain week is the largest festival in Australia for digital assets, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies.
