During March, Decentraland Will Host The Very First Metaverse Design Week

Social media in the virtual world With the beginning of Metaverse Fashion Week, set for March 24-27, 2022, Decentraland will host the world’s largest, totally digital fashion week. The virtual fashion week is set to feature brands such as Selfridges, Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce&Gabbana, Elie Saab, Guo Pei, Etro, Jacob & Co, Vogue Arabia, Dundas, Cavalli, Paco Rabanne, Hogan, FEWOCiOUS, The Fabricant, and others.

Decentraland, an established hub of digital, wearable design, will feature four days of runway shows, fashion experiences, pop-up stores, and afterparties, according to a press release from the Decentraland Foundation.

Designers Making Their Digital Wearables Debut

The ‘Luxury Fashion District,’ presented by UNXD and Vogue Arabia, will host Metaverse Fashion Week, a tour-de-force of houses, brands, designers, and fashion devotees, who will gather around multiple catwalks in Decentraland’s newest district, the ‘Luxury Fashion District,’ to see fashion’s hottest and most iconic brands make their Web3 debut. With the opening of their main metaverse store on March 23, London retailer Selfridges formally kicks off Fashion Week. An interactive encounter with Paco Rabanne and Victor Vasarely is part of the launch.

A futuristic runway in the centre of the show hosts daily shows by iconic fashion houses such as Dolce&Gabbana, Dundas, and Etro, as well as more luxury brands; as well as digital fashion brands like The Fabricant, new designers making their digital wearables debut at the virtual fashion week, such as Kid Super, and NFT superstar FEWOCiOUS. A upscale shopping area inspired by the architecture of Paris’s Avenue Montaigne surrounds the runway. Fashion Week activations, on the other hand, may be found all across Decentraland, featuring completely immersive experiences, digital marketplaces, and more. CashLabs Art Gallery + Screening Room – Where Art Meets Fashion will bring together a confluence of exhibitions highlighting the intersection of fashion and art from a mix of renowned artists and designers, as well as up-and-coming talent, while the Rarible Fresh Drip Zone is a space for emerging and digital designers. DressX, Kid Super, Cider, 8SIAN, The Rebels, Christine Massarany, Anrealage, Phygicode, WYLD FLWR, The Immersive Kind, and Placebo will all be featured on a special catwalk at The Metaloop by Kollectiff, which will bring runway shows to life.
