Can Samsung entering Metaverse solve issues with apps and stock price plunge?

Reports say that the electronic giant is planning to enter Metaverse along with AI and robots that could boost its business growth. 

South Korean news venue Hankyung reported that South Korean electronic behemoth Samsung Electronics has spoken that the company has plans to enter into the Metaverse properly now. The Decision of Samsung was announced after the recent general meeting of shareholders. 

Movement of Samsung into Metaverse also includes other mega plans including numerous mergers and acquisitions while entering the artificial intelligence space, telecommunications technology of 5G standards and robot production. 

Company has decided to go with such a plan due to the GOS issue that is Game Optimizing Service that was slowing the performance of thousands of gaming applications on its flagship smartphones including the recently launched Galaxy S22 and drop in its stock price. 

The reason for the stock price of the company going down as Hankyung reports suggest is the lack of a new growth engine for the business of Samsung. Now Metaverse, robots and Artificial Intelligence will become the life saving or necessary push that the electronic giant needed the most at this time to bring its business forward.

Since the company has acquired the electronics company Harma, Samsung has not acquired any other company since then and now evaluations are there to compare Samsung to compare it with its rivals. 

Vice Chairman Han decided to go with Metaverse as a way out from such a situation and to grow the business at the meeting of shareholders. Options for the metaverse, AI and robots have been considered for a long time now by the electronic giant for its growth engine. At the end of 202, Samsung almost formed a task force for its robotics commercialization.
