Kazakhstan police continues to shut crypto mining operations

Crypto mining operations is one of the most profitable businesses that has attracted many. However, due to crackdowns on the industry many of the miners have to relocate themselves. After the Chinese crack down  last year, miners found Kazakhstan as one of the most crypto-friendly nations where they can establish their firms. Although the government of Kazakhstan was bullish on mining operations initially, now the nation is facing black out complaints, as the iners are consuming heavy power.

Kazakhstan’s authorities are seizing crypto mining farms

According to recent reports, it is noted that law enforcement officers in Kazakhstan have busted another mining facility as they continue to crack down on illegal activities in the industry. Notably, the farm is located at a railway station, and is one of the authority’s latest targets which is causing struggles with power deficit.

It is notable that the crypto mining hotspot since the past year, is now trying to limit operations in its cryptocurrency domain which has expanded significantly. Moreover, the government is going after illegal miners although the energy-hungry industry as a whole has been blamed for electricity shortages and blackouts.

Kazakhstan closed more than 100 cryptocurrency farms

In recent development, Kazakhstan has closed more than 100 crypto mining farms. The list includes registered entities as well, as per the official announcement. According to the nation’s Transport Police Department which carried out the search, the officers found 130 cryptocurrency rigs as well as hard drives and spare parts.
