Coinbase, greatest cryptocurrency exchange in America, has made an announcement that they are making an interactive movie which will feature the prominent NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club.
Not a lot of details were provided regarding this development, but Coinbase made a tweet ‘definitely something’ on 12th April, adding that an interactive trilogy regarding ApeCoin community and Bored Ape Yacht Club is in pipeline.
The tweet was directly aimed towards holders of BAYC as it stated furthermore how they can assist the organization to make the movie. The post said, create a Coinbase wallet, give in BAYC NFT, Hide an easter egg.
It contained a link redirecting towards a website known as degentrilogy(dot)com which was specifically a splash page with 80s style font titles announcing that “something is coming,” and a link for connecting Coinbase wallet.
Initial of 3 series installments for short animated films will premier at NFT(dot)NYC in June. The Bored Ape Yacht Club community will be able to offer ideas for plot.
How the Crypto Community Responded?
Coinbase has made the series to peg with its upcoming NFT marketplace release. Culture Marketing Director and Coinbase Executive, Wiliam Swann stated that, they are motivated by BAYC community and are pleased to invite them to co-create this movie with them, dubbing the NFT channel as North Star in NFT sector.
As soon as it is launched, movies might only be witnessed by the ones having their Coinbase wallets linked to the NFT platform.
