It made the Tesla CEO start a new company which would have a dedicated goal to construct a network of transporter tunnels by digging under the major cities. As futuristic as the concept sounds, it actually worked like that, however The Boring Company has received a lot of criticism and widespread skepticism from various industry experts and civil engineers.
Similar things happened recently when Musk tried to grab the powerful social media platform Twitter.
