Undoubtedly the market cap and valuation of Bitcoin is far more than Dogecoin but seems like in popularity, the latter is giving competition to the former
In a recent interview, Roger Ver said that the meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) is superior and better than the first and original cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC). However he is among one of the early bitcoin and crypto adopters, still believes the joke that says that the meme cryptocurrency created as a joke is way cheaper and more reliable in comparison to Bitcoin.
To a large extent, the first crypto evangelist believes that Dogecoin could also become potentially the most dominant currency in the world that sounds similar to what Tesla, SpaceX CEO and multi billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk thinks. The entrepreneur who started to invest in Bitcoin and related companies in 2011 who also aimed at Bitcoin has claimed that it deviated and not following its original purpose.

As for his advocacy and supportive stance, he’s being called the ‘Bitcoin Jesus’ by the crypto community. The crypto evangelist then became one among the leading voices at the ‘big blocker’ camp where he predicted that slow moving block size would hamper the adoption that would result in dying of the original cryptocurrency. This statement created a separation within the crypto community that ultimately resulted in Bitcoin Cash creation, a hard fork of bitcoin that went live in 2017.
Bitcoin Cash has then fallen into irrelevance despite making initial success while currently sitting at 26th place according to market cap. As the report stated, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said that Bitcoin Cash has turned out to be a complete failure.
Ver said that he is not some bitcoin cash maximalist while claiming that he is holding a huige number of altcoins that include Dogecoin and XRP, etc. He still believes the biggest form of bitcoin could end up becoming the most dominant currency in the world despite the several years of severe underperformance.
Ver has returned to Twitter recently after a break of almost a year. In his recent tweet he predicted that bitcoin is going to lose its much revolutionary property if people in general will start using the custodial wallets in mass.
