Non Fungible tokens and such digital assets are breaking into various fields and sectors, bringing new opportunities and opening up new spaces

During the Cannes Film Festival this year, NFT artist Pplpleasr continued to explore the ways of tokenizing digital art that are revolutionizing so many concepts. NFTs are stepping into the film industry, and the digital tokens could turn into a tool to open new gateways for gender diversity in both the crypto and movie markets. Many people experience non-fungible tokens as an elaborated crossover of finances and fun, and some creators hope to use this booming market as a way for under-represented groups to provide new financial tools.

From Nadya Tolokonnikova of PussyRiots to activists of WomenRiseNFT and Emily Yang Pplpleaser, these female NFT creators are exploring and doing such projects that could affect the future positively of many other females and empower upcoming new generations to bring revolution and turn the inequalities of numerous industries. Recently Pplpleasr collaborated with Brut, a digital global media company, to create 75 producers and NFTs based on the Cannes Film Festival theme for the 75th edition of the film festival. As per the official announcements, this means that the owners of these NFTs will have unprecedentedly granted access to the Cannes Film Festival, including VIP invitations to attend several events.

It is interesting to see how the NFTs ownership boundaries are seeking ways to meet the real-life experiences needed as we are looking at how art is being continued to be consumed in an entirely new and insatiable way in the present digital era. Digital creators in general, are exploring new routes for granting rights to holders for including exclusive experiences. But, as the festival’s official Global Media partner said over this that this is an example of how the digital media company is working on unwrapping the traditional, content creation communities and new films.

The NFT collection for the festival is divided into three parts: bronze, silver, and gold which will be costing 5 ETH, 6 ETH, and 7 ETH, respectively. Each of these tiers grants distinct passes to the events like attending the red carpet (gold tier) open ceremony or viewing the Tom Hanks starring movie ‘Elvis (silver tier)’.
