A survey conducted by Dexterlab unveiled that a majority of investors in this booming sector are in it for generating money.
As per the research, around 64% of the investors stated that they threw money on NFTs to make money to grow it more.
According to the report, making investments in the NFT sector can generate profits if they make the right acquisition decisions. An instance is the Blocksmith Labs channel, which would have offered 2600% profit, that too in 3 months if anyone had made the investment in it.
Second reason the investors are still persisting in the NFT space is the sense of belongingness they feel due to various communities, as well as the “flex” of owning specific NFTs.
The report also says that investing in specific projects can be associated with their robust community. For instance BAYC holders can have accessibility to additional NFTs, that too for free, or to take part in exclusive events.
Majority Of Investors Are Still waiting For Profit
While a majority of investors state that they are here for money, majority of them having the motive are still haven’t experienced it.
As per the report, about 58% of the investors are still waiting to witness some profitability. Meanwhile, the remaining investors’ population in the sector claims that NFTs have offered them a considerable return.
