A digital agency, Blink Digital, and Yashoda Hospitals Groups have partnered to get a piece of land for establishing an experience zone in a metaverse platform, Decentraland.

Blink Digital, well-known for helping brands to dive into the metaverse ecosystem, is enabling Yashoda Hospital to leverage the metaverse so that the users can easily communicate with doctors. The campaign is being done to celebrate the 30 years of Yashoda Group serving in the hospitality sector.

The goal of Yashoda Hospitals is to offer healthcare services to individuals through metaverse in the future. Blink Digitals has developed components of the structure, which will render users a virtual experience in addition to making them aware of the hospital network and services offered by it.

Director of Technology at Blink Digital, Amer Ahmad, sharing this excitement said that they are overjoyed to become India’s first healthcare group to venture into the metaverse sector. Blink Digital wanted to do proper research and propose an idea with which both doctors and patients are comfortable taking into account the increasing demand for medical facilities. The Yashoda team had a clear idea which Blink Digital helped them implement, added Ahmad.

Director of Yashoda Hospitals Group, Dr. Abhinav Gorukanti, shared that they had a great time working with Blink Digital as they set up Yashoda in Decentraland, adding that it will be their first step in making the group’s presence there. The director also highlighted that they were also the early adopters of Web1 and Web2 and they are moving forward with a similar vision while transitioning from centralized to decentralized.  Their future plans include continuing to grow further in terms of creating a digital infrastructure that is “future-ready.”

Gorukanti believes that the future lies in these technologies such as Web3.0 and blockchain. A system that is not centralized but decentralized. He added that creating a presence in Decentraland is going to be their first step towards embracing decentralized technology. While in the future they want to continue to upgrade and invest funds in building digital infrastructure future-read.
